Since I am desperately waiting for Wat's new single on August the 2nd, I decided to make some new icons of the previous scans they released. Because I'll be working hard on their new ones :) I loved wentz's new hairstyle, teppei hasn't changed much. I hope the song itself is nice, it is called "Hava Rava" such a cute name =3=

ICON MAKING TUTORIAL~

it is really easy, I am only offering the basics moves I usually do when making an icon. adding the borders/textures is uo to you~

1- first of all, you have to sharpen your icon if it's kinda blurry. I can hardly see miyavi's eyes in this picture so I kept sharpening it to get a clear view.
don't sharpen your icon if it's already clear, otherwise it'll be ugly.

2- duplicate the base layer three times, 'soft light' it in the first two copies. 'soft light' it too in the third copy but make it B&W by choosing the 'desaturate' option. (image->adjustments->desaturate)

3- make three new layers now, fill the first one with pale brown "#ffd1ac" and "multiply" it, fill the second one with pale blue "#c6e5ff" and "soft light" it' and finally fill the third one with dark blue "#16144c" and "exclusion" it.

this is how they should be ordered:
